I have been a student with Arthur Murray since 1999 in Montreal, Canada and I was so happy to learn that an Arthur Murray studio had opened in Dubai. Since I moved to the UAE in 2008, I have been searching for a venue to continue with both ballroom and Latin styles of dance. Prior to the studio opening, I had not found a reputable place that could deliver all that this studio has to offer – from private lessons available around the clock, to social group sessions and practical dance parties. There is nowhere else that I know that boasts consistency, professionalism and the ability to work with my schedule. As I do not have a dance partner, this is not an issue as there are many other students to dance with as well as the wonderful teachers. I always leave feeling that I have danced my heart out. From the moment that you walk into the beautiful studio, you are welcomed by the lovely staff and you will immediately feel like part of the Arthur Murray family! See you there!

I have been one of the first students at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Dubai. I wanted to shake things up in my life so I was eager for them to open after I heard great reviews from some friends that are students at Arthur Murray Lebanon. I still think that after 8 months of dancing with them, it was one of the most life changing experiences I had. Their dedication, their patience, their professionalism and care have made dancing as liberating as flying could be. Finally I had something special for myself and it was so motivating and rewarding to see myself progress and to break from the daily routine. And what better way to do it than by having a blast while learning to be confident on the dance floor!! the teachers are all great, and their passion is contagious. Talking about Arthur Murray Dance Centres for me is talking about a life changing experience; nothing beats a stressful day at work like a dance session with one of the in-house instructors. To be honest I always longed to be taught by the very best professionals, and Arthur Murray Dance Centres met my criteria and what’s even better is that they exceeded my expectations! This is the place I call a second home where I can be myself all the time and my destination when I want to seek the friendliest place in Dubai. “We approached Arthur Murray to help us prepare for our upcoming wedding. While we didn’t necessarily want a choreographed routine, we also didn’t want to stand and sway on the dance floor like akward teenagers for our first performance as a married couple.
The team at Arthur Murray have given us the perfect solution. During the first several lessons we were introduced to the basics of many different dances and, from that foundation, we were able to select the dances we wanted to work on for our wedding. Not only do we now have a beautiful wedding dance, we also have some knowledge of many other dances that we can use in social situations. And on top of that, every lesson with our wonderful teacher is so much fun. We have lots of laughs and my fiancée and I now have a new hobby that we can enjoy together.”

I started at Arthur Murray 5 months ago and from 1…2…3, 1…2…3 I found myself preparing for a Samba solo for the London showcase only 3 months later. Considering that I had never taken a dance class in my life, I was absolutely stunned at what I did in such a short time and I can’t thank the Arthur Murray team enough for the dedication they put towards my development!
My initial goal was to relieve stress and work-out whilst doing something fun that did not involve a treadmill or heavy machinery at the gym but a couple of months later, I loved dancing more than anything else I had ever done. I continued dancing daily and soon after I would feel that something is wrong if I missed one night. It didn’t just help my physique but dancing has been an inspiration to my life.
Finally, I’d like to thank the Arthur Murray team in Dubai for their commitment and support. This has truly been a tremendous journey that I plan to continue for many years to come.
